Transitioning From Fall to Spring

A huge thank you to everyone for a farmtastic first season!  We loved sharing our farm with you and helping you solve our secret maze word “R”-Independence.  The corn is being picked this week and it will then be used for animal feed or to make one of 3,500 products made from corn.

Since we closed on the 31st, we have been busy planting strawberry plants so you will have strawberries to pick in the spring.  All went well and we had all 40,000 plants in the ground by Saturday afternoon.  Soon we will begin making plans for our 2011 CSA.  Be sure to let us know at if you are interested in more information on our CSA, or check our blog and website for updates. Thanks again for allowing us to help you create new memories and for sending your friends and neighbors to our farm. We look forward to being part of your pick fun experiences in 2011!
