Sample CSA Share
We have had questions as to what a CSA share would include, so here are some specific examples from last year. There truly is no “typical” share, as one week we may have an abundance to share and the next week may be much less as we wait for a crop to ripen. Being flexible and understanding how growing conditions can effect a crop are vitally important for a CSA member. One year a crop may do exceptionally well and another crop may fail. These are the challenges and joys of farming and eating local! We do everything we can to insure you receive a fair return on your investment and typically you will actually receive a higher return, plus the knowledge that you are helping a local farm while providing fresh, delicious, nutritious foods for yourself and your family. Please contact us with any questions you may have before joining our CSA. We would love to talk with you! Visit our CSA page for more information on what crops we grow and how you can sign up. There is a $100 credit for full shares that are paid for in January and a $50 credit for half shares. Please note we deliver to Charlottesville, Culpeper (we still need one more subscriber to confirm delivery!) and Ruckersville or you can pick up your share at our Farm conveniently located in Somerset.
