How Does it work?

Liberty Mills Farm CSA members pay for a Full or Half Share to be picked up or delivered once a week starting May 31. Produce is provided for 18 weeks either at the Farm or at the Madison or Forest Lakes Farmers’ Markets.  You will receive a bag/box of produce each week. When picking up your share, please bring a container to transfer your produce.  You may also purchase an extra container from us that is replaced each week.

In addition, CSA members will receive a 10% discount on additional produce grown at Liberty Mills Farm and a reduced rate for our Corn Maze!

What’s in a Share?

Your weekly share will usually consist of 6-8 different items each week.  A Half Share is enough freshly harvested produce each week for 2-3 people.  A Full Share provides enough produce for 4-6 people. Each week you will receive different varieties of produce that are fresh and in season.  Please note that quantities will vary over the season, with a higher variety and quantity of produce available mid-late summer. We make every effort possible to make sure you realize the value of your investment by the end of our season.

Produce grown for you on our farm includes beans, broccoli, chard, cucumbers, kohlrabi, kale, lettuce, melons, peas, onions, sweet and hot peppers, summer squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, winter squash, cooking pumpkins, and herbs.  Each week we will send out our email newsletter, Veggie Patch, with farm news and preparation tips and recipes.  Please note that weather and other unpredictable factors may effect the quantity or type of produce available during the season and that just as in your own garden, there may be a crop failure for unknown reasons, this is part of the risk you take on becoming a member. The upside is that a crop does extraordinarily well and there is extra to share.

Limited shares are still available for 2016. Contact us today for more information!
